Business Controller in IT

About the role

We are looking for a Business Controller with a forward-looking and analytical mindset. You will become a strategic partner to our IT leaders and work closely with the business to create clear governance and control. The role is about more than just following up on numbers – you interpret them, see patterns, and identify improvement opportunities. Your ability to break down complex issues, analyze data, and see the big picture makes you an important part of our team.

You will report to the Manager of Business Control within IT and become part of an engaged team that drives PostNord's development forward together.

Your main responsibilities

• Be responsible for budget, forecast, and follow-up work within IT.
• Analyze cost structures and identify improvement potential.
• Develop and follow up relevant KPIs for the IT operation.
• Support managers with advice and decision-making material for strategic decisions.
• Participate in monthly closing and ensure quality in financial outcomes.
• Contribute to reporting and analysis of transformation activities.
• Drive the development of processes and tools for effective governance.

- At least 5 years of experience in controlling, preferably within IT or complex organizations.

- Strong analytical skills and experience working with budgets, forecasts, and financial follow-up.

- Good knowledge of BI tools and financial systems.

- Ability to independently prepare and present decision-making material for different target groups.

- Relevant academic education in finance or similar.

- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
